SSC Graduate Level Exam 2016 Notification and Dates have been announced. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications for the recruitment of Group B & Group C vacancies by conducting Combined Graduate Level Examination 2016 (Tier-I). Eligible candidates may apply online on or before 10th March 2016 by 05.00 PM for Part-I Registration and 14th March 2016 by 05.00 PM for Part-II Registration
Staff Selection Commission will hold the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2016 (Tier-I) from 08th May to 22nd May 2016 and if necessary, on subsequent, in different batches, for selecting candidates for Tier-II Exam for filling up different categories of posts in various Ministries/Depts./Organisations

SSC CGL 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality/Citizenship: A candidate must be either (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 01st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the exam but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Govt. of India

Upper Age Relaxation:
Permissible relaxation of upper age limit as per Govt orders as well as category-codes for claiming age relaxation as on the date of reckoning (01st August 2015) are as below:

Educational Qualifications (as on 01st August 2016)
- i) Assistant Audit Officer:Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute
Desirable Qualifications for the Post of Assistant Audit Officer: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics
- ii) Statistical Investigator Grade-II:Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th standard level (or); Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level
iii) Compiler: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject
- iv) All other Posts:Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
All candidates who are declared qualified by the Commission for appearing at the Data Entry Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test will be required to produce the relevant Certificates such as Mark sheets for all the three years of Graduation/Provisional Certificate/Certificate of Graduation in original as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before the 01st August 2016, failing which the candidature of such candidates will be cancelled by the Commission
Candidates who are able to prove, by documentary evidence, that the result of the qualifying exam was declared on or before the cut-off date and he/she has been declared passed, will also be considered to meet the Educational Qualification
Application Fee & Mode of Payment
Candidates required paying some amount as “Application fees of CGL Exam 2016”; General & OBC Candidates Required to pay Rs.100/- as fees and Reserved Candidates (ST/SC)/PH/Women /Ex-Servicemen Category candidates are exempted from fees Candidate may note that only online applications will be accepted at http://ssconline2.gov.in and http://sscregistration.nic.in
Fees will be accepted in both Mode Online OR Offline. With Online Mode Candidates Required to pay Fees through SBI Challan or Online SBI Account also accepted by NEFT Mode In case of Offline mode it should be accepted through “Central Recruitment Fees Stamps (CRFS)” only at Post Office
The candidates submitting their applications Online may pay the requisite fee through State Bank of India only either in the form of challan or on-line through SBI Net Banking Payment can also be made through any Credit or Debit Card. Challan form will be generated on-line

The Application must be submitted only in the prescribed format online or on paper/offline. The examination is being held for multiple posts with different qualifications and other requirements

All candidates who apply in response to this advertisement by the CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATION are assigned Roll numbers; these will be communicated to them about two weeks before Tier-I exam
Fee Rupees One Hundred only (Rs.100): Women candidates and candidates belonging SC/ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Govt. orders

1.The Commission reserves the right to make changes in the scheme of examination such
as conduct of Tier-I and Tier-II examination in computer based mode ,treating
Tier-I examination as only qualifying etc.
2 Interview component has been dispensed with. There will, therefore, be no interview.

Tier-I of the Examination :
(A): General Intelligence & Reasoning: It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc. The topics are, Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic Series, Number Series, Figural Series, Problem Solving, Word Building, Coding & de-coding, Numerical Operations, symbolic Operations, Trends, Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/pattern– folding & un-folding, Figural Pattern–folding and completion, Indexing, Address matching, Date & city matching, Classification of centre codes/roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/numbers coding, decoding and classification, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence, Other sub-topics, if any.
B): General Awareness : Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Policy & Scientific Research.
C)Quantitative Aptitude: The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be computation of whole numbers, decimals ,fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage. Ratio & Proportion,Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss,
Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Alligation, Time and distance, Time & Work, Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra & Elementary surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangle and its various kinds of centres, ongruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle,
common tangents to two or more circles, Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons , Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base,Trigonometric ratio, Degree and Radian Measures, Standard Identities, Complementary angles, Heights and Distances, Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar diagram & Pie chart .
D): English Comprehension: Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested.
The questions in Parts A, B, & D will be of a level commensurate with the essential qualification viz. Graduation and questions in Part C will be of 10th standard level
