State Bank of India invites on-line applications from Indian citizens for appointment in following Specialist Cadre Officers posts in State Bank Group.

- The process of Registration of application is complete only when fee is deposited with the Bank through On-line mode on or before the last date for fee payment.
- Before applying, candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post as on the date of eligibility. Admission to on-line test will be
purely provisional without verification of documents. Candidature will be subject to verification of details/documents when the candidate report for interview if called.
- Candidates, applying for a particular post where two or more Banks have shown vacancies, should submit only one application.
Preference of Banks will be taken at the time of interview. Allotment of Bank will be done on the basis of ranking of the candidate in the merit list.

Preference will be given to candidates having background in analytics, macroeconomic
forecasting & analysis.
ExperienCE Allowance @ 15% of basic pay, etc as per the Uniform Terms and Conditions of service applicable to such officer.

- SELECTION PROCEDURE :
(i) Manager & Asstt. Manager (Chartered Accountant), Manager (Official Language), Dy. Manager (law), Dy. Manager & Asstt. Manager (Civil Engineer), Dy. & Asstt. Manager (Electrical Engineer), Asstt. Manager (System), Chief Manager (Economist): The selection of candidates will be on the basis of online written test and interview. The test will be conducted tentatively on 14.06.2015 (In case the number of applicants are less, Bank reserves the right to complete the selection process through shortlisting and interview instead of through online written test and interview).
The date of test will be uploaded on Bank’s website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e mails. Candidates will be required to download the call letters. The test may be held at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bangalore, Bhopal, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar,
Chandigarh, Jammu, Srinagar, Chennai, Madurai, Guwahati,
Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Kolkata / Greater Kolkata, Lucknow, Varanasi, Mumbai / Greater Mumbai / Thane / Navi Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Dehradun, Jaipur, New Delhi/ Delhi/ NCR, Patna, Ranchi, Ernakulam & Trivandrum centres.
The Bank, however, reserves the right to add or delete any centre and allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.
CANDIDATE SHOULD CHOOSE THE NAME OF THE CENTRE WHERE HE/ SHE DESIRES TO TAKE THE EXAMINATION. NO CHANGE IN THE CHOICE OF EXAMINATION CENTRE WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
EXAMINATION; Pattern of Test
- ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA:
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: DETAILS GIVEN AGAINST EACH POST.
- The qualification prescribed for various posts are the minimum.Candidates must possess the qualification and relevant full time postqualification experience as on 01.04.2015
- If CGPA scores or similar scores are awarded instead of marks, candidatesmust produce a certificate from the University /Institution which has awarded the score showing the equivalent percentage.
iii. CA candidates engaged in their own practice are advised to submit sworn affidavit on stamped paper showing period of post qualification experience, if called for interview.
Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year from the last date of receipt of application)Otherwise than by way of dismissal or dischage on account of misconduct or inefficiancy or physical disability attributable

- b) Notes for PWD Orthopedically Handicapped (OH) candidatesOH Candidates who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability should possess disability certificate issued by Medical Board dulyconstituted by Central or State Government, issued on or before last date of online submission of application.
Only those OH candidates who have locomotor disability or cerebral palsy with locomotor impairment of minimum 40% and only those who fall in the following categories are eligible to apply:
OL – One leg affected (R or L)
BL – Both legs affected but not arms

GUIDELINES FOR ORTHOPAEDICALLY CHALLENGED CANDIDATES WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR USING SCRIBE
– Those candidates who are affected by cerebral palsy with locomotor impairment and whose writing speed is affected can use own scribe at own cost during the online examination.
– Candidates eligible for and who wish to use the services of scribe in the examination should invariably indicate the same in the online application form.
– Such candidates who are eligible for use a scribe shall be eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes for every hour of the examination whether availing the facility of scribe or not.
– The scribe will be allowed to be used as per the guidelines issued vide Office Memorandum F. No. 16-110/2003-DDIII dated February 26, 2013 of Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Disability Affairs, New Delhi.
.Test will be held on-line. Wherever there will be no test, short-listing and interviews will be held.Where number of applications is less, Bank reserves the right to consider selection of the candidate(s) through shortlisting and interview, instead of test & interview.
- a) Except Professional Knowledge (PK) paper, other papers will be of qualifying in nature. Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in these papers. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by theBank. The questions will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English. The candidates will have option to answer the questions in Hindi or English(except for test of English Language).
- b) To be eligible for being short-listed for interview, candidates have to score equal to or above the cut-off marks to be decided by the Bank for the PKtest, besides scoring equal to or above the Minimum qualifying marks in other tests. For the post of Economist the qualifying marks in Descriptivetest will be decided by the Bank.
- c) Candidates must secure equal to or more than the minimum qualifyingmarks (to be decided by the Bank) in interview to be considered for selection. In the interview, the candidate can opt for Hindi also.
Merit List: a) for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in PK test, Descrptive test (when applicable) and interview or interview only, as the case may be.
- d) In case more than one candidate score the cut off marks (common markat cut off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, both in the select list as well as in the wait list.
NOTE:
- Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming in the ‘creamy layer’ are not entitled to OBC reservation and age relaxation. They should indicate their category as ‘GENERAL’ or GENERAL (OH) as applicable.
- Maximum age indicated is for General category candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit will be available as detailed under
Para 1 point No. ‘a’ below.
- The number of vacancies including reserved vacancies mentioned above are provisional and vary according to the actual requirement of the Bank.
- Candidates belonging to reserved category including Persons with Disabilities for whom no reservation has been mentioned arefree to apply for vacancies announced for unreserved category and they must fulfil all the eligibility conditions applicable to unreserved category.
- Total emoluments per month have been worked out for posting in Metropolitan centers. It will vary as per place of posting and percentage of dearness allowance, house rent allowance, etc. payable from time to time. Wage revision is under consideration.
- Reservation for PWD is horizontal and within the overall vacancies for the post.
