Brief Information: National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced notification for the recruitment of UGC-NET for ‘Assistant Professor’ and for ‘Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor both’ in Dec 2019. Those Candidates who are interested in the vacancy details & completed all eligibility criteria can read the Notification & Apply Online.

Application Fee :

  • For General/ Unreserved: Rs. 1000/-
  • For Other Backward Classes (OBC) – (NCL)/ Economically Weaker Section (EWS): Rs. 500/-
  • For SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender: Rs. 250/-
  • Pay fee through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ E-Challan  (SBI/ HDFC/ Syndicate/ICICI Payment Gateway)

Important Dates:

  • Starting Date for Apply Online: 09-09-2019
  • Last Date to Apply Online: 09-10-2019
  • Last date of payment of fee through Credit/ Debit /Net Banking upto 11:50 pm (through e-challan upto bank hours): 10-10-2019
  • Correction in particulars of Application Form on website only: 18 to 25-10-2019
  • Date of Downloading of Admit Card from NTA website: 09-10-2019
  • Date for Examination: 02 & 06-12-2019
  • Date of Announcing Result: 31-12-2019

Age Limit :

  • For JRF: Not more than 30 years as on 01-12-2019
  • For Asst Professor: There is no upper age limit.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Qualification :

  • Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC.
