18. Meaningful girdling (Ringing) experiments cannot be done on sugarcane because

Ans. (c) In monocot like sugarcane, maize, etc. due to absence of cambium secondary growth is not found. So removal of bark (phloem) is not possible so that ringing experiment is not possible.
