IPS or Indian Police Service is something that many people dreams to be successful in. it is one of the three All India Services of Government of India. In education, you should have a Bachelor’s degree from any university recognized by UGC and the age of candidate must be minimum 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years.

The relaxation in age is given of 5 years to SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for candidate from Jammu and Kashmir, 5 years for Defense Services Personnel, 5 years for ex servicemen and 10 years for blind, deaf, mute and orthopaedically handicapped persons.

For general category, they can attempt this IPS examination four times and for SC/ST there are no limited attempts and for OBCs, there are 7 attempts.
